Opened in 2002, Galeria Lodzka is a modern shopping centre with a retail space of 45,000m2 on three levels with over 160 shops, boutiques, coffee shops and restaurants. A four-storey covered car park caters for 1400 cars.
The mall is located along Pilsudski Avenue right next-door to Lodz’s most famous thoroughfare – Piotrkowska Street.
Though entirely new and constructed from scratch, Galeria Lodzka references the architecture, colour and tone of the post-industrial buildings of the surrounding area. The three-level mall, built in an L-shape merges perfectly with the city.
In 2004 Galeria Lodzka was ranked Europe’s most outstanding shopping centre (over 35000m2) by the International Council of Shopping Centres in the annual European Shopping Centre Awards.
Galeria Lodzka is a vibrant place where in addition to shopping, you can meet friends over a cup of coffee, enjoy the variety of shop window displays and listen to music.
